Local Staffing Company
grows in Slow Economy
Overland Park, KS–
January 15, 2009
While many
companies are continuing downsizing strategies in the slowing
economy, Intronic Solutions Group, LLC, a leading provider of
professional staffing services, continues to expand its market
presence. As many staffing companies were reducing the size of
internal employees due to lower numbers of billable consultants,
Intronic Solutions added key recruiting positions to keep up with
customer demand for service and delivery.
"Although the
general media outlets continued to play on the state of the economy,"
said Grant Gordon, Managing Director, "we found our clients had a
consistent demand for high quality individuals throughout the third
and fourth quarters of 2008." Gordon stated that usual cycles of ebb
and flow within the local staffing industry appeared to change in
2008. "Most of our requests for talent in Kansas City were in the form
of a steady demand in resources, versus the usual 'scale up' then
'scale down' project-based hiring we usually see."
As a result of
the continued demand, and the persistent need for excellent customer
service, Intronic Solutions added two recruiters to its team. Kim Vail
joined the Engineering practice based in Denver, CO and Gordon
believes "Ms. Vail's unique, personalized approach to Engineering
recruitment shall continue to aid in the exponential growth of the
division in 2009." Intronic Solutions' Engineering practice which
started in 2005, is now operating in 14 states across the country.
Melissa Mansker
recently joined the Information Technology practice in Overland Park,
KS, and adds an exceptional amount of expertise to a well rounded
recruiting team. Ms. Mansker has developed an expansive client and
candidate network in her past professional experiences, and now brings
strong value to Intronic Solutions' clients through a clear
understanding of their needs, and a proven delivery method.
According to
Thomas Hoffman of ComputerWorld, “by almost any measure, the U.S.
economy is in its worst state since the Great Depression. Consumer
spending is down, credit markets remain weak, and more than 10 million
Americans are out of work. Yet despite the grim financial picture,
demand for certain types of IT skills, such as SAP, .Net and help
desk/support, remains strong.” Intronic Solutions is an example of
those few companies focusing on the positive aspect of their role in
the local economy. "Being able to see people's resolve and belief in
these times, motivates our team to work harder than ever to provide a
catalyst in their careers. There are jobs to be found, and brilliant
people to fill them. The true talent search for our clients begins
with finding people in our network with a strong internal drive.”
Gordon continues, “with drive and passion, not even a sluggish economy
can hold you down – and our continued growth is proof of that."
